Internet

I would like to know which broadband would be best to use after having used dialup for the majority of my life?

Snap was recommended by a reliable technician but may not be available for your location. Check web pages, then phone the ISPs.
Consumer gives a comparison at:
http://www.consumer.org.nz/reports/broadband-internet/products/testtable

Customer satisfaction average 65%
In Order, first best:
Actrix, Inspire, Maxnet, Snap, Xnet, Paradise, Iconz, Orcon, TelstraClear, Farmside, Kinect, Slingshot,
Below Av: Woosh,Vodafone, Telecom Xtra

Could you let us know how you get on?

A lot depends on the deal you can get
Telecoms deal to combine free toll calls with rental and 10gig of broadband would be my choice, all that for just over $100
plus you get a free wireless router

Thank you for your comments. It depends on mum on if/when we get broadband.

Bake Mum a cake, do the dishes, bring in the firewood, finger X

Thank you for that suggestion. Unfortunately I don't think that it will work as mum will probably see through my efforts!
